The Annual Reception to Honor AmCham Romania Patron Members was an excellent opportunity for leaders in our community to connect and exchange views as 2025 draws to a close and 2026 approaches, with its share of challenges and opportunities.

On December 4th, at this year's reception, we were pleased to welcome senior Romanian officials and Members of the Government and Parliament, who accepted our invitation to hear first-hand the business community’s perspectives on the business and investment climate and expectations for the year ahead.

On behalf of the AmCham Romania Board of Directors, President Vlad Boeriu thanked U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Michael Dickerson and the teams at the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Commercial Service for their long-standing partnership, and extended a special appreciation to our Patron Members for their consistent support of AmCham’s work.

After sharing key insights from the AmCham Business Barometer and why members view 2026 as a pivotal year for Romania’s economic development, the evening concluded with a shared belief: despite its present challenges, Romania has great potential, and it is up to us to work together, the public and private sectors, to remove investment barriers and turn the potential into prosperity.
