U.S. Business Visa Facilitation Program

The U.S. Business Visa Facilitation Program (BVFP) allows AmCham Romania to schedule priority visa interview appointments, exclusively for employees of member companies with confirmed business travel to the United States. 

  • This program only covers scheduling interviews for B1/B2 visa applications. 

  • Please note that AmCham Romania does not have access to or visibility over visa applications once the interview has been scheduled.

How to Apply for a B1/B2 U.S. Visa (New or Renewal) 

Step 1 — Complete the DS-160 Form 

Fill out and submit the DS-160 online. 

Step 2 — Create an Account on the US Visa Scheduling Platform 

Register on the USVisaScheduling portal and sign in to your account. 

Step 3 — Pay the Visa Fee 

Pay the visa application fee online via the USVisaScheduling platform. 

Step 4 — Close Any Open Applications 

From the platform’s Visa Application Home: 

  • Open the left-hand menu and select “Close Application and Start New Application”. 

  • Click “Close All Open Applications” to close any active applications. 

Step 5 — Submit Required Documentation to AmCham: 

  1. Download and complete the spreadsheet (all fields mandatory). 

  1. Attach and send the payment receipt for the visa fee.
