AmCham Romania, AmCham Moldova, and AmCham Ukraine, together with leading IT industry organizations - ANIS Romania, ATIC Moldova, and IT Ukraine—announce the organization in Bucharest of the 3rd edition of the AI & Big Data Conference – Regional AI Valley . The initiative reflects the business community’s shared vision on the need for a coordinated regional approach to artificial intelligence, against a backdrop of rapid economic and geopolitical change.
On March 6, in Bucharest, international experts, business leaders, professionals, public officials, and representatives of academia and public administration will gather for a landmark edition of the conference. The event highlights the strategic role of artificial intelligence and Big Data in enhancing economic competitiveness, modernizing public administration, and strengthening regional resilience, including in the areas of security and defence.
The AI & Big Data Conference – Regional AI Valley positions artificial intelligence not only as an emerging technology, but as a strategic enabler of economic growth, institutional efficiency, and security. The conference provides a platform for applied dialogue between the private sector, public authorities, and the innovation ecosystem, focusing on how AI and Big Data can support business decision-making, productivity, innovation, and performance; enable data-driven public policies; accelerate the digitalization of public administration and services; and contribute to the development of defence and cybersecurity capabilities.
More than 70 speakers will address cross-cutting and sector-specific topics, presenting case studies, successful models, and practical challenges. The discussions aim to offer both strategic insights and actionable solutions for managers, founders, and decision-makers involved in digital transformation and the integration of AI and Big Data, across a wide range of industries as well as within public institutions.
Through this joint initiative, the six business communities position themselves as catalysts for regional cooperation in artificial intelligence and Big Data, promoting an approach grounded in innovation, responsibility, and strategic alignment. In this context, the conference serves as a key regional platform for aligning perspectives, sharing best practices, and advancing cross-border collaboration.
Following two editions held in Chișinău, the AI & Big Data Conference – Regional AI Valley is further consolidating its position, starting with the Bucharest edition, as a regional reference point for dialogue on how emerging technologies can enhance competitiveness, good governance, and resilience in Eastern Europe.
