Welcome to the second edition of AmCham’s Macroeconomic Insights, our internal assessment of Romania’s macroeconomic and fiscal developments.

The present edition covers Q1, Q2, Q3 of 2025, and provides an overview of the main projections anticipated for the full year. It examines economic growth and sectoral trends from both demand and supply-side perspectives, and analyzes labor market conditions, financial markets` evolutions, as well as the dynamics of the twin deficits.

This analysis is part of AmCham Romania’s ongoing efforts to provide members with reliable economic insights, data-based context for strategic decisions, and a better understanding of the policy and market developments shaping Romania’s business environment.
