The awarding ceremony followed a meeting of an AmCham Romania delegation of Board of Directors members and leaders of companies in multiple industries with Romania’s interim President Ilie Bolojan on April 3rd.
During the meeting, AmCham Romania representatives shared the main economic priorities and recommendations that the organization advances regarding Romania’s investment and business framework.
Topics raised during the discussion covered main risks for Romania’s macroeconomic outlook, the current fiscal framework, accessing and using the PNRR financing, measures to consolidate Romania’s investment profile through safeguarding the country rating, accessing the OECD, a strategic approach for supporting high-value-added sectors, among others.
U.S. Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, Honorary Chair of the Association, joined AmCham’s delegation.
A consistent and genuine policy-industry dialogue is more important than ever, and AmCham Romania thanks President Bolojan for this new opportunity to share views on how to best respond to the internal and external changes and challenges that impact businesses and the economy at large.
