Today February 23rd AmCham met with the Minister of Education, Mr. Sorin Cîmpeanu, to present priorities and identify concrete areas where AmCham and the Ministry can collaborate to improve the quality of the education system in Romania.
During the meeting, Minister Cîmpeanu presented the priorities of the Ministry of Education for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan: implementing the proposals in România Educată through reforms in dual education, early education, increased digitization of the education system and investments in the infrastructure of schools.
Minister Cîmpeanu also expressed his openness to continue the dialogue with AmCham and collaborate on advancing joint priorities.
AmCham was represented by Mr. Ionuț Simion (AmCham President), Ms. Ela Moraru (Member of the AmCham Board of Directors and Chair of the AmCham Education Committee) and Ms. Ștefania Popp (Deputy Chair of the AmCham Education Commmittee).
