On October 24, the AmCham Romania Defense and Security Task Force members welcomed a bi-partisan U.S. Congress Staff Delegation to discuss defense and security matters in the context of the war in Ukraine and in the larger geopolitical landscape.

We welcomed senior professional staff members from the House Foreign Affairs Committee and House Committee on Homeland Security.

Romania's OECD accession, the Port of Constanta, critical minerals, energy and infrastructure and Ukraine’s reconstruction were mentioned among the strategic projects and initiatives that are essential for the economic and security partnership between Romania and the U.S.

Welcoming the delegation on the AmCham side were AmCham Board members - President Vlad Boeriu , VP Nicoleta Forfota, Board Member Alex Milcev, along with Executive Director Letitia Pupazeanu and colleagues in the executive team- Manuel-Iulian Cazac, Daniel Mois and Oana Dobriţescu .
