More than 350,000 donors and 8,000 companies chose not to leave responsibility to “others.” Their contribution made possible the new Pediatric Hospital at Marie Curie — a 12,000-sqm, 9-level medical facility where over 3,500 children from Romania received treatment in just the first year.

This collective spirit inspired the new communication campaign for Dăruiește Viață: Nu lăsa pe Altsy/Alții (Don’t leave it to “Others).

“Others” (Altsy) is a symbolic character representing all the companies and individuals who chose to act instead of waiting. And their impact is real: Romania’s first Pediatric Radiotherapy Department, state-of-the-art Oncology and Hemato-Oncology units, sterile transplant rooms, modern ICU with single-bed wards, an Operating Block made out of glass, designed to reduce infection risks, plus Neurosurgery and Surgery departments.

Now, Dăruiește Viață takes it one step further, building Romania’s first Pediatric Medical Campus, expanding the Hospital with new medical units, accommodation for parents, and facilities for study and research.
