Hello again to all our AmCham partners! We have a fabulous event this weekend and we would love to see you there!

This Saturday, on 23^rd November 2024 between 11:00 and 15:00 we are waiting for you to join us at the National CODE Kids Science Fair 2024 which will take place at the Automation and Computers Faculty within Bucharest Polytechnic University, 313 Splaiul Independentei, EG Building (or by access from Iuliu Maniu Bld.).

What will happen there?

• We will have there 40 kids as representatives of 20 teams, who will present their robotics projects prepared with the purpose of solving a community issue and who will compete in a beautiful contest of the most ingenious tech projects.

• Our interactive host, Cosmo the Robot, will meet you there, happy to talk to you, shake your hand and take the prettiest photos together!

• And since we know that you always think about doing good deeds, we also invite you to donate mobile phones, tablets or laptops you do not use anymore, which may be functional or not. You donate them at the fair and we fix them together with our partner, ETI PC Association, donating them afterwards to CODE Kids clubs all over the country, where they are needed the most.

• Besides, we are waiting for you with robotics workshops and a 3D printer, an exciting treasure hunt with prizes and other surprises prepared both for adults and for kids over 8 years of age, such as a Photo Mirror, but also with extremely useful activities for kids and adults to test their skills of detecting fake news or deep fake using AI and self-assessment activities for children about online safety.

This year, we chose the same event concept ”Stay curious. Explore the impossible.” and the AI tool we used included elements from the story of ”Wall-e”, the robot, in the visual it generated. See more details also in our press release.

So, see you on 23^rd November 2024 at our National CODE Kids Fair 2024 where we shall stand besides our coders, applaud their work and creativity and be inspired by their innovation!
