Ijdelea & Associates have successfully advised Nano Energies on matters related to its establishment of Romanian operations as part of the group’s expansion in the region and on energy regulatory and licensing matters.

A particularity of the mandate entrusted to the firm concerned the obtaining the first license issued by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) for aggregation of both producers and consumers, the legal work having included the performance of the regulatory process as well as the advocacy efforts leading to the amendment of the legal framework (ANRE Order 95/2023) allowing for dual aggregation.

Nano Energies is a regional green tech energy services group active in the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Romania with a focus on renewable energy and digital energy services.

The Ijdelea & Associates team handling this mandate was coordinated by Oana Ijdelea (Energy) and Andreea Tudor (Corporate and Energy) and Alexandru Popescu (Regulatory & Compliance).

Ijdelea & Associates is an independent law firm which works with a deep understanding of clients’ industries, and invariably factors in a commercial approach. This combination enables the firm to help its clients structure their projects and transactions most advantageously, mindful of time demands and with a view towards meeting their legal and business objectives.
