Promotions

•        Lorena Novac – Partner

Lorena reaches an important milestone by joining the firm’s partnership. She is the first lawyer entirely grown within the Ijdelea & Associates team to become partner. Lorena has grown through all levels of seniority within the firm and from a very early stage proved a staunch contributor to our development, consolidation and expansion. 

An exceptional practitioner, Lorena has built strong expertise in Energy & Natural Resources, Industrial Developments and Private Equity Investments, advising on complex M&A transactions and Joint Ventures, regulatory and compliance matters, and project development mandates for institutional investors and strategic companies.

•        Luiza Catalinescu – Managing Associate

Luiza joined the firm in early 2022 and has since developed strong expertise in the firm’s real estate and transactional practices. She advises clients on a broad range of real estate, project finance and M&A matters, contributing to complex transactions and investment projects.

Her complex legal mind, pragmatic mindset and strong understanding of commercial dynamics make her a valuable contributor to multidisciplinary projects, including those in the energy sector.

New Colleagues

•        Sabina Dobre – Senior Associate

Sabina joins the firm with extensive experience in corporate and transactional matters, assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues and day-to-day corporate governance. She guides clients throughout the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and due diligence to negotiation and completion.

Fluent in French, Sabina has worked closely with francophone clients across multiple industries, bringing an international perspective to her practice.

•        Denisa Marin – Associate

Denisa joins the firm assisting on transactional and business law matters, supporting the team in company structuring projects and contributing to due diligence processes and the preparation of transaction documentation.

She also assists with regulatory aspects, including merger clearance procedures before the Romanian Competition Council.
