Redirect your income tax. At no extra cost.

by Salvation Army Romania March 31, 2026

Romanian law gives you the option to choose where a portion of the taxes you already owe to the state goes—without paying anything extra. By redirecting, you directly support the social, educational, and humanitarian programs of The Salvation Army Romania.

For individuals — 3.5% of income tax

Individuals can redirect 3.5% of their income tax to The Salvation Army Romania. Completing the form takes just a few minutes and can be done online. You can support the organization at a national level or a local center in your city (Bacău, Bucharest, Craiova, Iași, Ploiești).

For companies — up to 20% of corporate tax

Companies that pay corporate income tax can redirect up to 20% of it—at no additional cost beyond their existing tax obligations. The redirected amount is deducted directly from the tax owed. Two options are available:

  • Sponsorship agreement — signed during the fiscal year; the amount is deducted from the corporate tax due.
  • Form D177 — submitted after the end of the fiscal year; the tax authority (ANAF) transfers the amount directly to the organization.

Note: The maximum limit is the lower of 20% of the corporate tax and 0.75% of turnover. Companies subject to the minimum turnover tax (IMCA) are not eligible.
