Global law firm Dentons has advised OTP Bank and ING Bank Romania on a €100 million financing of Sun Plaza, one of the leading shopping centers in Bucharest and a flagship retail asset within CPI Property Group’s portfolio. The financing was structured as a club deal, with OTP Bank and ING Bank each participating in equal shares.

Opened in 2010, Sun Plaza is a dominant retail destination in the southern part of Bucharest, offering more than 170 retail, dining and leisure concepts across approximately 81,000 sq.m. of built area. The center benefits from direct connectivity to the Piața Sudului metro station and is certified BREEAM Excellent.
