Green Report has officially opened applications for the sixth edition of the Green Report Gala, one of Romania’s most important competitions dedicated to environmental and sustainability projects. Under the theme “The Ripple Effect,” the 2026 edition will recognize companies, public authorities, organizations, and leaders that have implemented local solutions with a tangible impact on the environment.

The Green Report Gala aims to spotlight projects that go beyond immediate results and generate broader effects: transforming processes, inspiring communities, influencing industries, and creating models that can be replicated.

This is the idea behind the sixth edition of the Green Report Gala, The Ripple Effect. The event seeks to highlight projects, companies, public authorities, and individuals who turn good intentions into concrete action and demonstrate that local solutions can contribute to real answers to global environmental challenges.

Initiated by Green Report, Romania’s leading publication on environmental and sustainability issues for the past 17 years, the Green Report Gala has become one of the country’s most significant platforms for recognizing excellence in sustainability. The event rewards projects that generate real, measurable, and meaningful impact, as well as their ability to inspire other organizations, industries, and communities.

“The Ripple Effect” speaks to the moment when a project evolves beyond being an isolated initiative and becomes an example for others to follow. It is about how visibility can amplify impact and how public recognition can help a good idea travel further, reaching people and organizations that can adopt, adapt, or multiply that change.

Green Report Gala 2026 invites companies, public authorities, organizations, and project initiators to submit solutions that have driven change in key areas such as energy efficiency, circular economy, environmental innovation, sustainable transport, environmental education, conservation of natural heritage, agri-food, and resource management.

"Very often, the full impact of a project is not visible at the moment it is implemented. It develops over time through changes in behavior, improved processes, inspired people, and replicated models. Through the Green Report Gala, we want to make these effects visible and help them go further.
