Genesis College offers Scholarships of Up to 100% for Students Entering 9th Grade

by Genesis College Bucharest June 16, 2026

In an economy where future-ready skills matter more than memorized information, choosing a high school is no longer just an administrative step in a child's educational journey. For many families, it represents a strategic investment in the educational, personal, and professional development of the future adult.

What Does Choosing the Right High School Really Mean?

Parents who have already gone through this decision know that choosing a high school is about much more than curriculum or proximity to home. It is about selecting the environment in which a teenager will spend four of the most important years of their development, the period when they discover their passions, build self-confidence, learn to navigate challenges, and begin shaping meaningful goals for the future.

It is also where they form friendships that influence their values and aspirations, meet teachers who inspire them, and find the context in which they can transform potential into tangible achievements. As a result, for an increasing number of parents, the traditional question, “Which high school will my child attend?” has evolved into, “What kind of person will this high school help my child become?”

What Is the Cost of Not Making the Right Choice?

Global statistics are clear: students who learn in educational environments with international standards have significantly greater opportunities to gain admission to top universities and successfully integrate into a rapidly changing labor market.

In a world where information is available at the click of a button, what truly matters is no longer what you know, but how you think and how effectively you apply what you have learned.

Genesis College is an accredited private school and an IB World School, offering both a national and international integrated curriculum from kindergarten through high school. This provides students with a coherent educational pathway and a clear direction for their future.

The integrated curriculum combines the Romanian national curriculum with International Baccalaureate (IB) standards, a globally recognized educational framework present in 159 countries and respected by universities worldwide.

Genesis College values and supports both academic excellence and the unique journey of every student, beginning with admission to the 9th grade through its personalized scholarship program.

“A scholarship can open a door. What makes the difference in the long run is the environment in which a young person learns to discover their potential and define their own path.”

Ioana Necula, Founder & CEO, Genesis College

Scholarships of Up to 100%

The Genesis College Scholarship Program is designed to remove financial barriers between potential and opportunity. These merit-based scholarships recognize academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, exemplary conduct, and support talented and motivated students.

Scholarships may be maintained throughout the entire high school cycle and are awarded based on students’ scores in the National Evaluation Exam:

  • Grade average 9.85 - 10.00: Excellence Scholarship, covering 100% of tuition fees plus a monthly scholarship of RON 800.
  • Grade average 9.50 - 9.84: 100% tuition fee coverage.
  • Grade average 9.00 - 9.49: 50% tuition fee coverage.
  • Grade average 8.50 - 8.99: 25% tuition fee coverage.

Our goal is to encourage students to reach their full potential in a stimulating and supportive educational environment. We also support high-performance athletes enrolled in our high school through scholarship programs that include tuition fee discounts.

The High School Can Provide the Right Path to Your Child

At Genesis College, education is not defined solely by academic results, but by each student’s ability to identify their strengths and turn them into future advantages.

Through three high school specializations: Computer Science (Mathematics & Computer Science – Intensive Computer Science), Social Sciences (English Bilingual Program), Economic & Business Management students are encouraged to discover their interests and transform them into concrete development pathways. The educational experience is designed to build the competencies required for success in the 21st century within an international context.

As a result, critical thinking, developed every day, becomes the skill that truly makes a difference.

When employers are asked what they seek in graduates, the answer is rarely “high grades.”  Instead, they consistently look for individuals who can think independently, solve unfamiliar problems, find solutions, and take initiative without waiting for instructions.

This is precisely the profile of a Genesis College graduate.

At Genesis College, students learn through practical experiences, including:

  • Interdisciplinary projects that connect learning with real-world challenges, conducted in the IDeA HUB laboratory.
  • Entrepreneurship competitions where students test their ideas before experienced business professionals.
  • Career counseling and academic guidance supported through specialized partnerships.

Recognition and Appreciation

In 2025, Genesis College received the Special Award for Trust in Romania at the Ziarul Financiar - 27 Years Gala and the Architect of Education Award at the Women in Economy Gala, organized by the National Confederation for  Women’s Entrepreneurship (CONAF).

These distinctions reflect the school's ongoing commitment to developing the essential skills of the future, including critical thinking, adaptability, leadership, digital literacy, and complex problem-solving.
