An IB PYP Educational Experience in a Fully English-Speaking Environment at Genesis Colleg
Genesis College is now accepting applications for its new English Immersion Programme, designed for preschool children who will learn, explore, and communicate every day in a 100% English-speaking educational environment based on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
Created for international families, the expatriate community, and Romanian families seeking an authentic international education for their children, the programme reflects the values that define the Genesis experience: genuine care for every child, learning through play, inquiry and exploration, meaningful relationships, and respect for each child's individual pace of development.
In the English Immersion Programme, English is not simply a subject to be studied—it is the language through which children build relationships, ask questions, investigate ideas, and discover the world around them. Through consistent exposure and authentic daily interactions, children naturally develop the ability to think, communicate, and learn in English.
Learning Through Play, Inquiry, and Discovery
Young children learn best when they feel safe, curious, and free to explore. For this reason, play is at the heart of the English Immersion Programme.
Through role play, storytelling, experiments, creative projects, movement, music, and collaborative learning experiences, children discover new concepts while developing language in meaningful contexts. Rather than memorising isolated vocabulary, they use English naturally, to ask questions, explain ideas, negotiate, create, collaborate, and express their thoughts and emotions.
The IB Primary Years Programme encourages children to become active participants in their own learning. They are inspired to ask questions, investigate, make choices, and seek solutions, transforming every learning experience into an opportunity to develop curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, independence, and confidence.
Genuine Care and Personalized Learning
At Genesis, education begins with the relationship we build with every child. We place strong emphasis on emotional well-being, belonging, and psychological safety so that each child feels seen, heard, and valued.
The programme is delivered by a dedicated team of educators experienced in implementing the IB Primary Years Programme and teaching in English-language educational settings. Teachers carefully observe each child's interests, strengths, learning style, and developmental pace, adapting learning experiences to meet their individual needs.
This personalized approach allows every child to progress with confidence. Children who already have experience with English are encouraged to expand their vocabulary and communication skills, while beginners receive patient support through repetition, visual cues, play-based learning, and authentic interactions.
A Campus Designed for Movement, Exploration, and Wellbeing
The English Immersion Programme takes place at the Genesis Early Years campus, a bright, welcoming environment thoughtfully designed for preschool learners.
Children enjoy access to a spacious 5,000-square-metre outdoor area, providing ample opportunities for free play, movement, nature exploration, and outdoor learning. Time spent outside is an essential part of the daily routine, supporting children's physical, social, and emotional development.
Indoor learning spaces are carefully organized to encourage independence, collaboration, and choice. The learning environment remains flexible, evolving alongside children's interests and the inquiry units they are exploring.
Children also benefit from access to the Genesis Discovery Centre, a dedicated STEAM centre created exclusively for Genesis College preschool students. The centre features spaces including the Tech & Construction Lab, Nature & Art Studio, Journey of Discovery Hallway, and Soft Play Room.
Here, children build, experiment, create, move, and collaborate while using English in engaging, interdisciplinary learning experiences. Learning extends well beyond the classroom, becoming a dynamic journey connected to the real world.
More Than Learning a Language
The early years provide the ideal opportunity for children to acquire a new language naturally. Through immersion, children gain far more than vocabulary and grammar. They develop confidence to communicate, the flexibility to engage with people from different cultural backgrounds, and the ability to view the world from multiple perspectives.
The English Immersion Programme supports every aspect of a child's development: academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative. Children are encouraged to become curious, compassionate, independent, internationally minded, and confident learners.
At Genesis College, we believe that exceptional education is built on the balance between internationally recognized educational standards, genuine care, meaningful relationships, and learning experiences tailored to every child.
The English Immersion Programme will welcome its first cohort of children in the 2026-2027 academic year.
