Dentons is pleased to announce that Elena Vlăsceanu has joined the firm as Counsel, in a move that strengthens its market-leading Energy practice.
Elena has over a decade of experience in corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, with a focus on energy and natural resources. She has advised investors during the acquisition, development, and sale process of major renewable energy projects. She also has a strong background in the construction and infrastructure area.
Claudiu Munteanu-Jipescu, Partner and Head of the Energy practice at Dentons Romania, stated, “Elena joins our team during a time of very rapid growth of our energy practice. In the last year, we have provided consultancy in renewable energy transactions aggregating more than 1,300 MW under development, including consultancy in the field of electric vehicle marketing. In addition, we have advised clients on taking control of important transitional energy sources, such as natural gas. Elena’s deep sector expertise and commitment to excellence will allow us to better serve our clients and accept additional key mandates.”

Elena graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law. She is a member of the Bucharest Bar and speaks Romanian, English, and French.
