ABOUT SelectUSA and the 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit, May 3-6

SelectUSA, is the U.S. government program led by the U.S. Department of Commerce that focuses on facilitating job-creating business investment into the United States and raising awareness of the critical role that economic development plays in the U.S. economy. Since its inception, SelectUSA has facilitated more than $270 billion in investment, creating and/or retaining over 240,000 U.S. jobs.

The 2026 edition of the SelecteUSA Investment Summit takes place in its legacy venue - the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland and is the highest-profile event in the United States dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI). The 2026 edition takes place between May 3 and 6.

Participants to the Summit can:

• explore interactive exhibitor showcases featuring economic development organizations (EDOs), service providers, industry experts, and international tech startups;
• network with more than 50 states and territories, companies from around the world, speakers, government officials, and others, as well as set up one-to-one or group meetings to make investment deals happen;
• learn from policy and industry experts during dedicated sessions and gather actionable information on everything from developing a workforce to understanding incentives;
• meet and form valuable partnerships with industry partners from across the United States;
• meet thousands of investors from international markets.

The SelectUSA Tech program serves eligible international tech startups developing innovatice tech products and/or services and planning to expand to the U.S. maket within the next 2-3 years. The program provides services to support the U.S. expansion efforts of startups and creates a space for them to make connections to the U.S. startup ecosystem.
