We are pleased to announce that Vlasceanu & Partners has assisted Kraftfeld Energy on the complete deal lifecycle of the Garla Mare Project, which integrates a 126 MWp solar photovoltaic plant with a 200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).

Our team provided comprehensive support at every stage, from legal support during the development stage (on real estate and permitting matters), continued with an in-depth vendor and financing due diligence phase, moving into the structuring and negotiation of the M&A transaction, and ultimately providing Romanian law assistance for facilitating the €90 million senior financing for the project's development made available by Raiffeisen Bank International.

The project development and due diligence processes were led by Raluca Spînu (Partner), while the M&A transaction was coordinated by Dan Oltean (Counsel) and the financing related assistance was led by Madalina Mailat (Counsel). The overall project was carried out under the supervision of Loredana Vlasceanu (Partner).
