Effective 6 July, Stratulat Albulescu Attorneys at Law (“SAA”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Oana Bucșa as Partner.
Oana Bucșa brings over 13 years of professional experience in competition law and commercial law, gained at leading Romanian law firms. Throughout her career, she has been involved in complex mandates, advising clients on a wide range of high-profile advisory and compliance matters, with a consistent focus on competition law and related areas.
Her expertise spans a broad range of competition law matters, including investigations and sector inquiries conducted by the Romanian Competition Council, merger control, state aid, competition compliance programmes, as well as advising on the competition law aspects of distribution systems, pricing policies and commercial practices.
Her experience also extends to matters involving foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and regulatory compliance, an increasingly important area for businesses operating in strategic sectors and cross-border transactions.
Across her projects, Oana has advised a diverse range of clients, from international groups to companies active on the local market, on both the assessment and structuring of commercial transactions and representation before competition and other regulatory authorities.
Her practice is distinguished by a solution-oriented approach, combining rigorous legal analysis with a strong understanding of clients’ commercial objectives.
In addition to her client work, Oana is actively involved in the legal and business community, frequently speaking at specialised conferences and webinars, and authoring articles and commentaries on developments in competition law and FDI screening.
The appointment comes as part of SAA’s continued investment in the growth and consolidation of its Competition practice, reflecting the firm’s commitment to providing clients with strategic and commercially focused advice in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
