She will be responsible for building and leading a dedicated Marketing and Business Development department with its own team. supporting the firm’s growth strategy and strengthening its relationships with international clients and partners.

The appointment comes as SAA continues to expand. Over the course of 2026, the firm has strengthened its team through new partner-level appointments, internal promotions and hires across several practice areas. Mirela brings more than ten years of experience in marketing, communications, PR and business development, across professional services and entrepreneurial settings. Over the past two years, she has managed the marketing activity of a Bucharest law firm, working on branding and communications projects and on strengthening its digital presence. She also founded and ran her own business, which gave her an entrepreneurial outlook and a practical grasp of business objectives. Mirela combines marketing and PR expertise with a sound understanding of the legal industry, and has a long-standing interest in how technology can make communications and marketing more efficient.
