The international fair opened its gates for tens of thousands of visitors in the Gulf region
27th October 2011 – Virtual laboratories, 3D educational content, Augmented Reality and content on multi-touch devices – these are some of the innovations showcased by SIVECO Romania at BETT Middle East, the most important regional event in education technology.
Together with its partner, the Ministry of Education in UAE, SIVECO Romania presented the latest results acquired through the project of improving education in UAE by introducing digital content in the learning process. The visitors could engage in classes held by local teachers in a modern virtual laboratory, exactly like in a real school from Emirates. Those interested were encouraged to test the multimedia educational lessons in Arabic and English, developed specifically for educational requirements in UAE.
„We are proud to work with the Ministry of Education in UAE for the project of improving education by means of digital content. By now we have successfully implemented in emirates schools the largest digital library in Arabic language in the world, comprising over 7.000 reusable learning objects based on the national curricula.
