Schoenherr și Asociații SCA announces a round of promotions: as of 1 February 2026, Magdalena Roibu has become Partner, Adriana Stănculescu has been promoted to Counsel, while Carla Filip and Sabina Aionesei have been promoted to Senior Attorney at Law.
The promoted lawyers are active in some of the practice areas of strategic importance for Schoenherr's future development plans in Romania, including white-collar crime & criminal defence, real estate and construction, data privacy, competition, EU and foreign trade.

About the promoted lawyers:
Magdalena Roibu, PhD (Partner, White-Collar Crime & Criminal Defence) has been a lawyer since 2008 and joined Schoenherr in 2017. Her academic expertise in criminal law and criminal procedure is complemented by her solid practice as a white-collar crime & criminal defence lawyer. At Schoenherr, she has had an essential contribution to the development of this practice, assisting a variety of clients in highly complex criminal cases.
Adriana Stănculescu (Counsel, Real Estate and Constructions) has been a lawyer since 2009. She has strong experience in real estate and constructions, with significant track record in advising Schoenherr clients on complex real estate transactions, project development and construction, as well as in assisting companies that own and operate large real estate portfolios.
Carla Filip (Senior Attorney at Law, Data Protection) has been a lawyer with Schoenherr since 2014. She is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP/E) and has experience in advising multinational and local companies active in various sectors on the full range of data protection matters, as well as on issues related to the EU Digital Services Act, NIS2, and AI Act.
Sabina Aionesei (Senior Attorney at Law, Competition, EU & Foreign Trade) is a lawyer admitted to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales (since 2022) and registered with the Bucharest Bar (2024). She has experience in competition, EU and foreign trade and has been part of the Schoenherr team since 2024.
