POPESCU & ASOCIATII was designated, at the end of June, Eastern Europe Firm of the Year. The trophy was received within the 13th edition of Women in Business Law EMEA Awards 2023 which took place in London. Just few days later, the company and its lawyers were awarded at the Top Lawyers Gala and Romanian Legal Awards. Also, the company and one of its partners were shortlisted in three categories at the LMG Life Sciences Awards EMEA 2023, an international competition that announced its winners last week in London.
For the title Eastern Europe Firm of the Year, awarded at Women in Business Law EMEA Awards 2023, POPESCU & ASOCIATII has competed alongside six other companies with important activity in the region, being the only Romanian law firm on the podium. The winners were chosen by a panel composed of senior editorial staff following an extensive research process, analysing issues such as innovation, excellence and companies' ability to support the development of women in the legal profession.
The beginning of July brought new awards. During the 13th edition of the Top Lawyers Gala, four trophies were received. The Gala is dedicated to Romanian business lawyers and, annually, awards the professionals who have distinguished themselves, in the previous year, through notable performances in their fields of expertise. The most recent awards, received by the Litigation team, respectively by the team of lawyers managing projects in the field of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) within POPESCU & ASOCIATII, were awarded at the Romanian Legal Awards 2023. The Gala, which has become a reference event, has among its objectives to recognize and celebrate the performance and excellence in the field of business law.
