POPESCU & ASOCIATII was designated, for the 2nd year consecutively, as Highly Commended Law Firm in South Eastern Europe. The prize was announced at The Lawyer European Awards Gala 2022, which took place in London, on November 29.

Only four law firms from Romania, out of over 120 companies at European level, were on the short list and competed this year for the trophies and special awards. The winners of the 25 categories were selected, following a very rigorous analysis process, by a jury made up of more than 60 top lawyers and specialists from prestigious companies.

At the previous edition, the company was the first law firm in Romania, with less than 3 years of activity at the time of designation of winners, which managed to obtain the exclusive award of Highly Commended Law Firm from South-East Europe within The Lawyer 2021 ranking, alongside other companies with resonance across the European legal market.
