New Country Manager for Manpower Romania

Starting with the 9th of May, Manpower Romania has a new Country Manager. Valentin Petrof (35) takes charge of the company at a key turn of its evolution – the recent repositioning as ManpowerGroup (Manpower & Manpower Professional).

With a vast experience in management and sales (over 13 years), Valentin Petrof has been involved in both local and global business ventures, in industry sectors like Telecom and Banking.

His career stands under the sign of constant and continuous evolution, coming as a confirmation of his expertise gained in the consulting, sales and management areas inside companies like MobiFon, GE Money (Motoractive Leasing and Domenia Credit). Previous to his appointment as Country Manager for Manpower Romania, Valentin Petrof occupied the position of Managing Director at Creditexpress Romania and Bulgaria.

Petrof’s evolution is supported by his major contribution to launch, extension and development of regional and national sales networks, bank branches or financial product lines.

Manpower’s new Country Manager is a graduate of Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest (Law and International Relations department) and of an MBA at IEDC Bled School of Management in Slovenia. His main objective in his new position is to increase the company’s market share in Romania and emphasize on the diversification of the clients’ portfolio and strengthening the company’s image on the local market.
