Filip & Company law firm, together with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, has advised funds advised by Apax Partners LLP (“Apax”), a leading global private equity advisory firm, on the Romanian legal aspects of the intended acquisition of Finastra’s Treasury and Capital Markets business unit (“TCM”). Upon completion, TCM will operate as an independent entity under a new brand. The closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the first half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and the completion of information and consultation processes with employee representative bodies, where required.
TCM serves a client base of over 340 financial institutions globally, with software solutions for the entire transaction cycle, compliance, and risk management, including benchmark products such as Kondor, Summit, and Opics.
