According to a HubSpot State of Marketing Trends 2023 report, hybrid events, webinars and conferences remain globally at the top of companies' preferences as marketing and communication tools. Most professionals and entrepreneurs believe that events have a significant impact on brand and business results.
This trend is also visible in Romania, where the events market, stuck in the digital area during the pandemic, is recovering in force. More than 1,000 new business and professional events are listed every month on the EventsMax.ro platform and their number is growing. Launched in 2022, out of the need to organize information about business events, under the initial name of EventsOnline.ro, EventsMax.ro promotes events from several dozen fields of activity, the most dynamic being marketing, legal, financial, human resources, technology or medical.
Until 2020 we had several types of event organizers: specialized companies, marketing companies or travel agencies, and the events were attended in person. But streaming video has produced a disruptive leap in the events industry. Most in-person events now have hybrid components as well. And the number of video events is growing at speed. The explosion in the number of webinars and hybrid events is also supported by large investments in video-streaming solutions.
More than 500 event organizers are now listed on EventsMax.ro and the number of digital event organizers is growing the fastest. There are already companies in Romania that organize at least 20-30 public webinars annually. The webinars proved their effectiveness in marketing, PR, sales, advocacy, in maintaining relationships with local communities, but also with global communities.
To help the market discern between these tens of thousands of business events delivered annually in Romania, EventsMax.ro collaborates with the organizers and informs each community about the events scheduled in their field: for example, on the platform there are 1,500 subscribers to information about marketing events, 12,000 subscribers to medical events or 1,300 subscribers to information about business events.
