The 10th edition of the Caspa.ro National Conference, dedicated to all patient associations in Romania, will take place between November 16-17, 2023, at Hotel Caro in Bucharest.

For this autumn, the main agenda addresses "Patient safety in the Romanian healthcare system", and additional details and the registration form are available on the conference page.

This edition’s speakers will bring their input on relevant topics for patients and include:

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diana Loreta Paun, Presidential adviser
• Răzvan Prisada, ANMDM President, will talk about patient safety from the point of view of medicine safety;
• Florin Ciocan - President of ANMCS
• Dan Cimpoeru, lawyer, will present details about the legislation that manages patient safety;
• Alina Pătrăhău, founder of the Daruieste Aripi Association, will show they managed to develop the first oncological registry in our country;
• Luminita Valcea, executive director of COPAC, will present their major projects and the opportunities that other patient associations in Romania can pursue.

Partners who decide to join the project can benefit from the potential partnerships with patient associations that can lead to the establishment of valuable relationships, with a positive impact on business and social involvement projects. By working with patient associations, they can get data and feedback directly from patients, valuable insights that can help improve products or services, or help develop more effective marketing and communication strategies.

Caspa.ro Patient Association Community is an activity and engagement program that has produced, so far:

• 9 editions of national conferences, + 800 participants
• 25 offline and online debates, + 1300 participants
• +30 topics discussed, from Romanian patients' access to treatments, personalized medicine, access to innovation, telemedicine, guaranteeing patients' access to treatment, settlement methods, ethics in relations between patient associations and pharmaceutical companies.
• Community corporate partners that support the program since 2025, leaders in the healthcare and pharmaceutical market, that have understood the role that patient associations have in the healthcare system.

The Caspa.ro Patient Association Community Conference is one of the traditional activities of the Caspa.ro community. Developed by Oameni și Companii since 2015, in order to support and increase the visibility of the patient community in Romania, the CASPA community has managed to bring its members together in various activities, and since 2017 it also benefits from its own digital platform, caspa.ro.
