Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, received eight awards at the ninth annual Europe Women in Business Law Awards, organized by the Euromoney Legal Media Group. The awards recognize the top women business lawyers and in-house counsel from across Europe, as well as the best firms for women in the legal profession.
Paris-based partner Sandra Hazan, Co-head of Dentons’ Global and Europe Tax groups, and a member of the Europe Board, received the award for “Best in Tax”. This award adds to her recognition as a leading tax lawyer in directories such as Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500 and International Tax Review.
Dentons was also recognized as the best law firm for women lawyers in Romania, France, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. Balcıoğlu Selçuk Akman Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK) the Istanbul-based law firm that cooperates with Dentons in Turkey, was also named Best in Turkey.
Finally, the Firm received the award for “Best international mentoring program” for the fourth year in a row for its senior development program, which helps develop leadership skills among high potential lawyers.

Winners of the Europe Women in Business Law Awards were selected based on submissions from law firms and research by editorial staff at International Financial Law Review, Managing IP, Expert Guides and International Tax Review.
