Dentons provided legal support throughout all stages of the projects, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of the transfer documentation, as well as signing.
Partner and Head of the Energy practice in Romania, Claudiu Munteanu-Jipescu, led the team. The team included senior associate Angelica Pintilie, associates Alin Dimache and Carolina Mitea (all Energy); partner Bogdan Papandopol, counsel Luiza Onofrei and associate Diana Anghel (all Real Estate), and associate Iulia Titirisca (Competition).
Claudiu Munteanu-Jipescu commented: “We are honored to support OX2 in consolidating its position in one of the fastest-growing renewable energy markets in Europe. This transaction once again highlights the extensive expertise of Dentons’ team in Romania, as well as our ability to provide integrated legal advice on complex renewable energy projects, supporting our clients in capitalizing on the opportunities that the Romanian market offers.”
