Global law firm Dentons acted as English law and transaction counsel to Alpha Bank S.A. and National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Limited on a €600 million term loan facility extended to YODA PLC, a Cyprus-incorporated investment company listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
Structured to refinance existing indebtedness and fund future investments, the facility positions YODA PLC to accelerate the expansion of its portfolio.
Bucharest-based Banking and Finance partner Simona Marin led the Dentons team, coordinating the cross-border and multidisciplinary workstreams. Dentons worked alongside MLL Legal, which provided Swiss law advice on banking and finance and capital markets matters, and Chrysostomides, which advised on Cyprus law.
Commenting on the transaction, Simona Marin said: "The transaction reflects Dentons' ability to coordinate complex, multi-jurisdictional deals. We are proud to have supported Alpha Bank S.A. and National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Limited in delivering a facility that underpins YODA PLC's continued growth."
