CTP, the largest listed developer and manager of industrial and logistics space in Continental Europe, continues to develop its portfolio in Romania with a new industrial park in Arad. CTPark Arad West is strategically located with easy access to the western part of the city, close to the DIY centres and benefits from both public transport and a very good connection to the A1 motorway, less than one km away.

With an area that will total approximately 100,000 sqm, CTPark Arad West is the first project built by CTP in Arad, to the recognized standards of the group, present in 10 countries. CTP entered the Arad market in 2015 and also owns the industrial parks CTPark Arad and CTPark Arad North, totalling almost 60,000 sqm.

"Location, location, location is everyone's mantra when talking about properties and choosing a real estate space, and our project in Arad has a truly strategic location. I'm sure the players active in the Arad market are well aware of the advantages of this key location. What we still have to show are the advantages of our premium, energy-efficient buildings, built to advanced international standards, which will really help them to attract workforce and keep under control the utility costs, which have become as important as the rent", said Ana Dumitrache, Country Manager CTP Romania.

CTPark Arad West is located in the industrial area of Arad West, less than 3 km from the city centre and only 4 minutes from the A1 motorway and the future pan-European transport corridor Bucharest-Timisoara-Arad-Nădlac, which will link Western Europe to South-Eastern Europe. Its location in the industrial area of Arad contributes to business development through the synergies it can develop with other companies in the area offering related services.

Direct access to the A1 motorway facilitates all logistical operations, deliveries or dedicated transport, regardless of the type of gauge required. Also, the short distance from the city centre ensures that future employees from Arad or neighbouring towns can quickly reach their future workplace using public transport, as the tram line and bus station are in the immediate vicinity of CTPark Arad West.

The new CTPark Arad West project will accommodate both CTFlex spaces for small and medium-sized companies and CTSpace spaces for companies that need generous floor space. In other words, from next year, there will be space available for rent from 500 sqm  up to 15,000 sqm.

Development work will start in the last quarter of 2022, and the first of the planned 100,000 sqm will be delivered in 2023. CTP currently has a total of approximately 290,000 sqm under development in several cities in Romania, including Arad, Oradea, Timisoara and Bucharest.

In Romania, CTP owns a total area of approximately 2.2 million sqm of class A warehouses in 15 cities: Arad, Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Deva, Oradea, Pitesti, Sibiu, Timisoara, Turda, Targu Mures, Caransebes, Ineu and Salonta.
