Save the Children Romania, with the support of MSD, launches an emergency intervention aimed at facilitating access to integrated social and health care services dedicated to pregnant women refugees from Ukraine and their newborns.

The project is implemented through a grant provided by MSD, through the MSD program for Mothers, worth 3.55 million lei and targets about 70,000 pregnant women, Ukrainian mothers and children who have found refuge or only transit Romania and the Republic of Moldova. This new humanitarian assistance project will take place at the main border points with Ukraine, in refugee camps and regional centers for processing and accommodation of assistance and asylum seekers.
