This year, AmCham Romania decided to step further into its mission and extend it to the business leaders to come, as well. Future leaders are the ace up the sleeve for the long-term prosperity of any business in an increasingly challenging environment. Branching from this vision, our determination to add value to your business led us to design the “Become a Leader!“, an ambitious project dedicated to identifying young business leaders.

“Become a Leader!” will give the opportunity to 12 students or more, who have proved their intelligence, capability and ambition to benefit of a 2 week internship stage within 12 AmCham Romania member companies. The candidates will be selected by AmCham Romania based on their academic record and on the essay themed “Leading in Romania”. At the end of the program, the interns will prepare a report with their shared aspirations for Romania.

The success of “Become a Leader!” project depends very much on your support as an AmCham Romania member. We would like you to consider getting involved by offering a stipend of 500 EUR for one student, covering the travel, meal allowance and accommodation during the entire project, and a two-week internship stage – a customized experience focusing on Leadership Shadowing and Exposure to Top Management.

Your contribution to the personal development of a few extremely promising young talents will lead to a higher retention rate of Romanian young professionals, creating shared values for both your business and the business environment.
