Schoenherr și Asociații SCA announces a new round of promotions: as of 1 February 2025, Monica Cojocaru - previously local partner - becomes a partner in the international structure of the Schoenherr Group, while Loredana Barbu, Francesca Buta and Alexandra Păduraru are promoted to senior attorney at law in the Bucharest team.

Currently, more than half of Schoenherr's partners working in Bucharest are part of the group's international structure.

Details about the promoted lawyers

Monica Cojocaru (partner, corporate/m&a, regulatory/energy) has 23 years of experience as a lawyer. She joined Schoenherr in 2007, where she has been a local partner since 2013. She is a recognized M&A and energy lawyer and has been involved in a considerable number of transactions and investments locally and internationally.

Loredana Barbu (senior attorney at law, banking & finance) has been a lawyer since 2019 and a member of Schoenherr's specialized banking & finance team since 2022.

Francesca Buta (senior attorney at law, banking & finance) has been a lawyer since 2019 and joined Schoenherr in 2021 as part of the banking & finance team.

Alexandra Păduraru (senior attorney at law, labour & employment) has been a lawyer since 2018 and joined Schoenherr's employment law team in 2023.
