Chimcomplex is launching a collaborative opportunity as part of an ambitious project we aim to finance through the PNRR. Our goal is to produce polyols for flexible foams by recycling polyurethane from used mattresses, significantly reducing our carbon footprint by 6,000 tons of CO2 annually.

We are specifically targeting companies involved in waste sorting, particularly those that handle the selective collection and disassembly of mattresses. Mattresses, including those replaced by hospitals, are sent to collection centers where they are dismantled into textiles, springs, and polyurethane foam. We are prepared to take all of the polyurethane foam generated from this process.

Our involvement requires minimal effort on your part. Initially, we seek to sign a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize our collaboration. Following this, we will work closely with you to ensure the seamless collection and recycling of the polyurethane foam.

We are aiming to secure partnerships for a minimum of 500 tons of foam annually. With the funding application deadline fast approaching in early September, your support is essential.
