Peikko Group Corporation (an innovative Finnish company and one of the leading global manufacturers of structural elements) has purchased an existing man-ufacturing facility in Romania from Swedish group SSAB’s local subsidiary.

Noerr advised Peikko in all legal aspects of the purchase. The purchased property located in Bolintin Deal totals 90,000 sqm of land and 30,000 sqm of modern production facilities. Peikko plans to gradually build up the production capacity of the new Romanian unit.

The Noerr team was led by Senior Associate Alexandru Dan (Real Estate) with the supervision of Roxana Dudau (Associated Partner and Head of Real Estate & Construction). Attorneys Raluca Bo-tea and Diana Rizea were involved in the legal due diligence process. Also, the setting-up of a Romanian branch of PEIKKO Group and the corporate structuring were dealt with by Noerr’s corporate Associate Cornelia Postelnicu with the supervision of Rusandra Sandu (Counsel and Head of Corporate).
