Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații is pleased to announce a new round of promotions within the Firm, following the annual performance appraisal.

Veronica Culcea (Corporate & Commercial; Real Estate) and Ioana Lazăr (Banking & Finance; Corporate & Commercial; Mergers & Acquisitions) have been promoted to Managing Associates, while Diana Toma (Corporate & Commercial; Mergers & Acquisitions; Real Estate) became Senior Associate.

Veronica Culcea advises clients on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters, with experience in lease and construction contracts for investment projects, as well as real estate development related issues.

Ioana Lazăr’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She is involved in all stages of M&A transactions and provides ongoing support in complex matters. She also brings notable experience in banking & finance.

Diana Toma specializes in mergers and acquisitions and handles a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with additional experience in real estate development related issues.

All appointments are effective as of March 1, 2026.
