On the evening of March 7, 2019, CONAF - the National Confederation of Women Entrepreneurship and Capital Media Production organized at the Bucharest National Opera the "Women in Economy "gala, where the first edition of the Top 50 Women in Economy was launched. The event awarded the top ladies entrepreneurs and ladies who lead the largest companies on the Romanian market.

Mrs. Lucia Nora Morariu, President of the travel company EXIMTUR  and member of Amcham, is one of the top 10 ladies entrepreneurs present in the top, being invited in the gala to be awarded a Diploma of Excellence - for the noble contribution to the development of the business environment and the promotion of entrepreneurship.

On the stage, there have also been ladies entrepreneurs with important businesses in Romania and ladies managing the operations of giant companies such as Electrica, Orange Romania or OMW Petrom, which provide a significant part of Romania's GDP. The ranking was based on notoriety, business value and achievements over the past two years.

The event was attended by more than 800 people, including high officials from Romania and abroad, such as the President of the Romanian Senate - Mr. Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, US Ambassador to Romania - His Excellency Mr. Hans Klemm, Ambassador of Great Britain to Romania - His Excellency Mr. Andrew Noble.
