The General Contractor and Specialized Construction Works division of MASTERBUILD reports 80% growth in the first half of 2020, as compared to the similar period of the previous year

MASTERBUILD – General Contractor & Specialized Works, a Romanian construction company active in the industrial and commercial construction sectors, registered 80% turnover growth in the first half of 2020, as compared to the same period of 2019.  

Thus, in the first 6 months of the current year, MASTERBUILD registered 13 mil. LEI business, as compared to 7 mil. LEI in the similar period of 2019. The growth is mainly due to expanding the company activity focus this year and approaching more complex projects. The company has mainly been focused on Construction Management contracts (turnkey construction projects), while in the previous years it was focused on specialized construction works. 

“Our vision is to grow the Construction Management segment and focus on General Contractor and Project Management contracts, delivering added value services to our clients in the industries that are working in full speed now, even during pandemic.

We keep on focusing on retail, e-commerce, agribusiness and food industries, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, logistics and transportation, the electro – IT market and all the other sectors with intense activity on the market that aim to build stores, retail parks, production and logistics facilities. In the next period, as a significant disruption is expected on the international supply chains, we might see a series of companies developing production facilities and regional logistics hubs in Romania.
