SIVECO Romania is the coordinator of the European project RENOVA supporting the development of new professional skills for the medical staff
An innovative teaching material based on the management model from clinics in France will be used by the medical staff in Romania. The RENOVA project (Knowledge Transfer for the medical assistance staff in the entire Europe to develop their managerial skills as managers) is taking place within the research program Leonardo da Vinci - Innovation transfer, and is carried out by SIVECO Romania along with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", the Center for Development and Innovation in Education TEHNE, the organizations ORT - France, Searchlighter - Great Britain and Smart Education - Poland.
The professional role of medical nurse is changing throughout the entire territory of the European Union, existing an increased request for qualifications exceeding the traditional medical competences. RENOVA supports acquiring of competences and skills for the professional development and insertion of the medical staff experienced in the health management. The project promotes the staff mobility to the benefit of the health organizations.
The project envisages organization of two pilot training centers in Romania and Poland, where will be trained 100 medical nurses - 60 from Romania and 40 from Poland. The learners' selection will be performed in Romania in collaboration with the University "Carol Davila". The course will have 4 modules with duration of 76 hours. After the evaluation to take place at the end of the course, the participants will receive certifications recognized by the National Council for Adults Professional Training (CNFPA).
At the end of the project, the course will be possible to be used on a large scale by the interested institutions.
The project is taking place in the period February 2011 - February 2013.
