Global Vision completes the development of the first logistics units in Constanța Business Park and Chitila Logistics Hub

by Global Vision August 31, 2020

Global Vision, the real estate integrated services platform, founded by Sorin Preda in 2004, has continued the accelerated growth in Romania and the CEE region of Europe, despite the disruptions caused by the crisis.

The company managed to recently deliver the first logistics units (more than 20,000 sq.m each) in Constanta Business Park and Chitila Logistics Hub. The two projects are being developed in partnership with Globalworth.

Constanța Business Park is a mixed-use project that will comprise retail, office, logistics, industrial, intermodal, and hospitality functions. The project stretches on a plot of 100Ha and it will be, without a doubt, the biggest business park in the South-East of Romania.

Constanța Business Park is located adjacently to the railway, with a future direct connection to the railway infrastructure through the intermodal terminal to be built in the immediate proximity of Constanta Port.

The logistics park is also situated, nearby the Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport, with direct access from DN 39, Constanța-Mangalia connecting road, and a few hundred meters from the A4 Motorway.

Constanța nowadays represents the Eastern border of the EU and NATO and the entrance gate of the EU - the Middle East / Asia.

The port of Constanta benefits from an advantageous geographical position, being located on the routes of 3 pan-European transport corridors: Corridor IV, Corridor IX, and Corridor VII (Danube) - which connects the North Sea to the Black Sea through the Rhine-Main-Danube corridor. The port of Constanta has a major role in the European intermodal transport network, being favorably located at the intersection of trade routes that connect the markets of landlocked countries in Central and Eastern Europe with the Trans Caucasus region, Central Asia and the Far East.

Global Vision will soon complete the second industrial project developed in partnership with Globalworth.

The last-mile project Chitila Logistics Hub is designed to enhance supply chain operations and it has been specifically planned to serve logistics, distribution, and e-commerce companies.

The project is strategically located just 11.5 km from Otopeni Airport and 18 km to the Km 0 of the City Center.

Now, the 22,400 sq.m first unit is almost ready to be delivered to its clients. The total surface of the project will reach 77,000 sq.m of modern warehouse accommodation.
