The Romanian office of DLA Piper, one of the largest international law firms, active on the local market since 2008, strengthens its team of practitioners, by hiring no less than seven lawyers.

The most experienced of the newcomers is Cristi Porojanu, a lawyer specializing in competition law matters, with over 6 years of experience in local law firms, who will join the Competition team. On this occasion, DLA Piper also integrates a team of 3 junior lawyers who took part in the DLA Piper Summer Internship 2020 programme and placed first in the international Lawyer for a Day competition, held in the DLA Piper network. These are Paula Iuşan, who will work in the Corporate team, Mihai Huială, who will support the development of the Life Sciences & Competition practice, and Călin Ştefanopol, who will be a junior litigation lawyer.

DLA Piper confidently supports the ascension of a new generation of young lawyers, and in this context three other recent law graduates have joined the DLA Piper team as junior lawyers: Mara Udrescu, who received the highest grade at this year's Bar exam, Eduard Maxim will join the Corporate team, and Corina Şerbănescu will be part of the Employment team.
