When a child ends up in the hospital seriously ill or injured, fear and pain are easier to bear if their mother or father can be by their side. However, for many parents, costs and distance prevent them from being where their heart calls them to be.

Families with sick children from all over the country find solace in the hardest moments at the Ronald McDonald Houses in Bucharest, Iași and Timișoara. Here, our support means more than a roof over their heads – it means safety, warmth, hope.

In the last 27 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities (Fundatia pentru Copii Ronald McDonald Romania) supported over 27,000 people in their toughest moments, providing more than 138,000 free overnight stays in the 3 Ronald McDonald Houses. We invested more than 10 million euros in the community, to enhance children's access to better medical services. More than 15.000 families from 35 counties in Romania received both physical and emotional support to all family members when their child was in the hospital, helping reduce their stress and financial burdens and thus allowing families to focus on what matters most, the heath of their child.

We couldn’t have done that without the help of our partners and volunteers who donated their resources and time year after year.

At Ronald McDonald Houses, every day begins and ends with the same essential mission: parents can stay close to their child. Beyond free accommodation and hot meals, the Houses offer real emotional support: psychological counseling, activities that bring normality, moments of connection and respite for parents. Families find peace, support, and understanding in a safe and welcoming space during an extremely difficult time.

The form is available here -https://formular230.ro/fundatia-pentru-copii-ronald-mcdonald, costs you nothing, takes 3 minutes of your time and most importantly - eases the burden of a parent, who doesn’t need to worry about accommodation or meals when his child is hospitalized.
• If you represent a company, you can redirect the corporate income tax through 177 Form, until June 25th, for the sponsorships made in 2025 that have not reached the maximum established by law.
