A new World Vision campaign to help vulnerable children in rural areas

by World Vision Romania January 13, 2021

1 in 10 children go to bed starving.

11% of children eat only two meals a day.

And a quarter of children are not helped at home when they have difficulties!

The solution: World Vision Romania’s Bread for Tomorrow program!

World Vision’s mission is to provide access to education for all children. But education goes through the stomach. Maybe it's hard to believe that in a world that evolves so fast, there are still children who have nothing to eat. This is one of the causes of dropping out of school. We cannot ask children to go to school or have good results when the hunger is stronger.

World Vision Romania’s Bread for Tomorrow program comes in response to this need of children in rural areas and has so far had excellent results. So far, 1,250 children have been included in the project and benefited from a hot meal every day.

Moreover, in addition to meals, they receive help with homework, clothes and other resources that cover their basic needs. We can do even more with your help. Get involved in order to offer them a better future!

You can help by offering one of the four portions of generosity and kindness:

  • 65 lei- Bread for Tomorrow for a week : 5 meals + 10 hours of help with homework
  • 130 lei- Bread for Tomorrow for 2 weeks : 10 meals + 20 hours of help with homework
  • 260 lei- Bread for Tomorrow for a month : 20 meals + 40 hours of help with homework
  • Or any amount, here
