Raluca Negulescu – Balaci
Raluca Negulescu-Balaci is the Executive Director of UiPath Foundation, a global non-profit organization, founded by UiPath, to support underprivileged children from Romania and India to reach their potential through equal access to quality education.
Previously, Raluca coordinated, for 9 years, comprehensive educational programs for children in disadvantaged communities across Romania, under the umbrella of the Policy Center for Roma and Minorities.
She also worked, in 2007, as a Junior Consultant in a World Bank-supported national program, focused on enabling 250 poorest communities in Romania to keep up with the fast-technological challenges.
Raluca has extensive experience in coordinating local, national and European advocacy and awareness raising campaigns, using a wide array of instruments such as documentaries, debates and community organizing. In 2013, Raluca was Legislative Fellow in the US Department of State professional program “Building grassroots democracy in minority communities” and she received the Annual Human Rights Award of the Embassy of France in Romania for her local women empowerment initiative – Mothers' Club. Raluca is fellow in the 2015 generation of Aspen Institute Romania’s Young Leaders Program and a member of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
Dragoș Iliescu
Prominent specialist in Organizational Psychology and Psychological Measurement, with a solid academic activity and experience in practice, Dragoș Iliescu is also a doctor in psychology, and University Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Bucharest.
With skills and academic activity that brought him a wide range appreciation among the international community, Dragoș is the former president of the International Testing Commission (ITC) as well as newly appointed President of Psychological Assessment and Evaluation Division at International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP -International Association of Applied Psychology).
He was also the president and co-founder of the Romanian Association of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (APIO) and member of the editorial teams of prestigious profile publications, as well as Associate Editor of the “European Journal of Psychological Assessment ".
Dragoș is the author and co-author of over 125 published worksheets, on various topics related to applied psychology (especially psychological and behavioral assessment), consumer and advertising psychology, as well as marketing research.
At the same time, he is a respected speaker at scientific conferences in countries such as the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, or Australia, with over 115 scientific papers presented overtime.
Dragoș Iliescu is an experienced businessman with an experience of over 15 years, with intensive consulting activities in hundreds of market research projects and in applied psychology, he is the founder of the Test Central company (www.testcentral.ro), the biggest psychological tests publisher in Romania, as well as founder of the Psyence group (www.psyence.ro).
He has a robust experience in applied psychology, especially in psychological and behavioral evaluation, work and organizational psychology and consumer psychology.
His passion for education and the high level of expertise acquired through his involvement in international testing programs, motivated Dragoș to develop the only Standardized Testing System in Romania — Brio® (www.brio.ro), a multi-faceted platform of solutions in education, based on proprietary scientific research, that boosts children school performance and the confidence of their parents and school teachers, and is capable to further contribute to a larger and generous cause -a visible improvement in the Romanian educational system, using an unique approach.
