THE AMCHAM HOUR with Board Member Sevan Kaloustian: Leadership conversation on Global Health and Sustainable Development for a Healthy Romania

On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 between 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., the AmCham Hour series continues with an online discussion with Sevan Kaloustian, member of the AmCham Board of Directors -  Managing Director, Janssen, Johnson & Johnson Romania and Co-Chair of the AmCham Health Committee.

Sevan will share his insights about managing a business during the pandemic, building on his experience as a top executive in the pharmaceutical industry.

Throughout his more than 10 years’ career in the healthcare industry, Sévan Kaloustian had a leading role in facilitating patients’ access to the portfolio of innovative medicines of Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson spanning a wide range of functions and geographies. Sévan joined Janssen France in 2009 where he held roles in Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing.

BIO - Sévan Kaloustian, Managing Director Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in Romania

 Before moving into the current role, Sévan Kaloustian was Commercial Director for Janssen Poland, and before that he was Global Commercial Strategy Director within the Neuro-Degeneration unit and was based in New Jersey, US.

Sévan Kaloustian holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and a Master in Pharmaco-Economy both from University of Montreal, Canada.

He has completed a doctoral fellowship at Sinica Academy in Taiwan and an executive leadership course on “Digital Transformation of Industries” at the Columbia Business School, New York.

Since 2018, Sévan Kaloustian is also an Associate Professor at the University of Montreal, Canada – The Faculty of Medicine, and he authored multiple scientific publications in the area of cardiology and mental health.
