The Romanian economy and society have reached a point when it’s imperative to ask for action from all the people who have proven leadership skills.
On December 8th, 2011, 80 Romanian Business Leaders (RBL) have made a first clear step towards bringing together an authentic community. They worked in teams to identify and prioritize the major challenges Romania is going to face over the next years and on the long term. The resulting document can be read

The RBL community intends to give a straightforward answer to these challenges through direct and personal involvement and has already started to work on specific projects for Romania.
The next step is the Romanian Business Leaders Summit (RBLS) on February 2nd-3rd, 2012, where business leaders will further develop these ideas in clear projects and actions that will be carried through this year.
The members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania are invited to join the RBLS community and attend the Summit on February 2nd-3rd, 2012, in Bucharest, at the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel.Registrations completed by January 1st, 2012 will benefit of a 10% discount from the early bird price to attend the Summit. After January 1st, 2012, the members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania will continue to benefit of a 20% discount from the regular attendance fee.The Romanian Business Leaders Foundation, the organizer of the Summit, values integrity, action, altruism and confidence in Romania. http://www.rbls.ro/en/code.php To register for the Summit, participants need to pay a 490 euro contribution (includes access to all Summit sessions, to all event documents and to breakfasts, lunches and cocktails; it does not cover accommodation and transfer costs to and from the Summit location), which is exclusively destined to cover the organization costs of the event.
At the same time, registering for RBLS also means a commitment on your behalf. The Summit sessions are sequences of a process asking for participants’ involvement from start to finish, over the two days. The Summit results decisively depend upon full teams’ attendance. Working teams will be formed in the first Summit day.
