In the context of the upcoming Presidential Elections, AmCham Romania invited candidates to an open meeting with members of our business community for a dialogue on Romania’s economic priorities for the next mandate. The discussion will also address Romania’s role in ensuring regional stability, strengthening its strategic positioning within the EU and NATO, advancing national security and energy resilience, and promoting Romania’s attractiveness as a destination for sound investments.
This initiative builds on similar sessions from October to November last year, under the AmCham Priorities for Romania 2024 – 2028 advocacy framework.
The invitations and the document outlining AmCham's vision and recommendations were sent to the top 5 contenders indicated by polls. Meetings will be scheduled based on their responses.
The next meeting in the series will be with Presidential Candidate George Simion, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 12:00 - 13:30 p.m., at the AmCham Romania Premises.
On the AmCham side, participation is open to AmCham Romania members and is limited to one representative/company, based on prior confirmation required online here.
Please note that confirmations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of seating in the AmCham conference room.
Please note that the discussions will be held in Romanian.
